Since 1997, Roush has offered three stages of Mustang performance packages. The company’s cars are sold as new vehicles and come with the same warranties and protections that accompany a regular Ford Mustang.
ROUSH Stage One
The ROUSH Mustang Stage One combines Ford’s 2.3L EcoBoost engine with a range of aesthetic enhancements to create a fusion of form and function that’s sure to turn heads. The car features a unique hood, front grille, and side skirts as well as a lower air intake that helps to improve cooling.
Roush also has a range of appearance options to choose from, including a hood spoiler and rear decklid spoiler. These are available as a standard feature or as an upgrade.
ROUSH Stage Two
Roush’s Stage 2 Mustang combines Ford’s 5.0L Coyote V8 with a range of aesthetic enhancements to make the car stand out at the track. The car features a widened upper grille, chin spoiler, body side scoops and aero corner pockets as well as an extensive set of graphics to customize the look of the vehicle.
Inside, the Stage 2 comes with a number of performance upgrades and vehicle-matching interior elements. It also features a re-tuned suspension system, a set of Roush 20-inch quicksilver-finished wheels and Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires as well as an optional ROUSH Active Exhaust System.
The power output can be raised to a whopping 775 hp, which is more than any other Stage 3 Mustang Roush has ever built. It comes equipped with a Roush supercharger, a radiator and oil coolers to extract the heat from the engine and transmission and optimise the calibration of the ECU to support high performance demands.
